With cooler temperatures just around the corner and with an orphan ministry renting the camp in late October and a Womens Conference being hosted here in November, it is essential that Jeremiah's Hope begin getting a heating system installed to meet the needs of our guests.
When the main lodge and cabins were being built over the last year, we knew that ultimately we wanted the facilities to be used year round. However, at the time, we had to focus all of our financial resources on building and getting the camp ready for use by summer. Today, we can accomodate 60 people at the camp in the main lodge and 5 cabins.
At this time, Jeremiah's Hope needs to raise $6,000 to install the heat in these buildings. As winter creeps closer, prices are bound to go up, so we would rather get the systems installed now rather than waiting much longer.
