I just read the story in your "Ukrainian Moments" newsletter and then checked out these pictures. My husband and my response to this story was, "BEAUTIFUL".
My name is Tommie Varney and I just returned from Mariupol with the Woodland West LST team. Emily, Sherry, Pat, Brent, and I were there from June 26-July l0th. Hal and Tim were there with us also. I am thrilled to see Luce (Sveta), Andre, and Anna (Yakov's family) in the picture. Is the young boy with the camera around his neck, Sasha? His mother is doll maker. If so, I read with Sasha during our English classes. I'm happy to see him at the camp. I really feel joy over Sergei's baptism. How wonderful to have another brother in Christ. Please tell Luce (Sveta) and her family hello from Woodland West. We miss them all already.
