A couple of years ago, our missionary neighbors, Richard & Vicki Nelson, came to camp and brought dozens of bears to give to the kids. The bears were a gift from the James Fund, a division of Family Christian Stores. Last month, the Nelsons moved back to America and their final impact on this camp was a gift of almost a hundred teddy bears from the James Fund.
This week, we hosted 30 new kids and all were from troubled and poor homes. It was a blessing to watch their faces as our ministry team gave them these soft, lovable friends.
