Pouring the Foundation...

God heard our prayers this morning and the 10 ton cement mixer truck was able to EASILY drive through the sand and onto the wooden road leading to the directors cottage of the camp.

At a little after 10 AM, about 12 people with shovels and rakes moved 10 tons of cement quickly across the rebar gridwork to create the foundation of the directors cottage. This was a very difficult job and one which was tiring, but in less than a hour the work was completed and the foundation was poured!

The 10 ton cement mixer backing in on the wooden road to the house.

Kola manuevering the cement into place.

6 men quickly moving the cement across the floor space with shovels.

The last area to be covered with cement.
