After a week of much prayer and stress concerning the delivery of our wood, it finally was delivered to the camp today! You have no idea what a HUGE BLESSING this was.
In mid-March, we ordered our wood and it was to be delivered on June 10th ready for construction two weeks later on June 23rd. A month ago, we began calling the man we ordered from and he kept giving us a million reasons concerning why the wood was not ready or not delivered. Finally, on Friday of last week we learned that he had been fired and had nothing to do with the wood order and that the money we had paid him was never passed onto the company properly. Meaning, he had basically stolen our money.
Last night, the owner fo the company agreed to let us pay just $1,500 (which is well BELOW what the wood is worth) and come and take it ourselves in our own truck. So, we hired a truck driver early this morning to go pick up our wood.
We are a day behind in construction of the Fritts Directors Cottage, but we are PRAISING GOD FOR HIS PROVISION. The owner of the saw mill actually gave us an extra 3 Cubic Meters of wood...that is an extra 20% wood. God definately provides!!!
